Why is garment care important?
To protect the technical properties and ensure you walk with confidence in your Perff clothes, it’s important to care for your garments preserving the its quality, drape and finesse as our italian fabric suppliers recommend.
Always check the label first and only clean as needed.
Machine wash
- Designed to provide you with maximum comfort, our fibers need to machine wash cool at 30ºC inside out using a small amount of mild detergent. Not only are you saving energy washing at lower temperatures, but you’re also preserving all the technical properties of our pieces.
- Use an eco-friendly or natural detergent and always read the label first to ensure it's good for you and the environment. Not only will you save resources, but your clothes will look newer for longer.
- If you’re using The Lab Co Sports Detergent, for soft water/light soiling use 2 capfuls (20mls). For hard water/heavy soiling use 4 capfuls (40mls).
- Don’t use softener, bleach or iron Perff’s clothes.

Hand Wash
- Conceived to be effortless and easy to wash, Perff’s clothes do not require hand washing. However, hand washing is a good practice.
- Fill a clean sink or bucket with cold water. Add a tablespoon of your natural detergent or if you’re using The Lab Co Sports Detergent, use 1-2 capfuls (10-20mls). Not only will you save resources, but your clothes will look newer for longer.
- Spot clean your garment and swirl around the water for a few minutes. Drain the sink/bucket and refill with clean cold water to repeat the swirl. Place on a clean towel and gently press to remove excess water.
- To avoid distorting the shape of your garment, please do not wring or twist your garment.

How to dry
- Our products are quick and easy to dry and care for. The drying time is extremely fast, even in lower temperatures. All our pieces are made from high performing fabrics including bonded fabrics which are sensitive to high drying temperatures. To maintain the appearance of your Perff Studio colour-blocked garment, always air dry in shade.
- Don’t tumble dry or dry clean.
- For longer durability of fibers and a boost of fragrance apply Sports Laundry Mist on wet or dry clothes.
